One of my favorite things in nature is the onset of tiny, pink buds on trees. The very sight sends my heart aflutter… with love and awe and hope. But as much as I adore and sometimes painfully yearn for spring, I’ve come to realize that every season (in nature and life) has something good to offer.
Though spring is a time of growth and renewal and beautiful, tiny, pink buds… winter is a season that provides pause and rest. And though it seems that winter beckons us to be still for almost too long, creating a sense of tension… every minute of it is crucial in preparing the world – in preparing us – to bloom.
